About Transcripts
Transcripts are the official and comprehensive records of a student’s academic work, including all coursework, grades, programs, and awarded credentials and honors.
Official Transcript Release Policy
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) requires that all requests for transcripts must be authorized by the individual to whom the record belongs, either in writing or through a secure electronic authorization.
Methods of Request
You can use one of three methods to order your UNE official transcript.
Online (recommended for fastest service)
Electronic Transcripts can be requested online 24/7, directly through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) NSC Official Transcript Order Site.
For assistance on how to request an electronic transcript, please visit the NSC Help Page. Questions can also be directed to the NSC via phone at (703) 742-4200 or email at transcripts@studentclearinghouse.org.

Credit/debit card payment must be made via the National Student Clearinghouse in order for an E-transcript request to be processed. The NSC has a $2.90 handling fee for Electronic Transcript Delivery within their network, or a $3.90 handling fee for Electronic Transcript Delivery outside of their network.
Standard Mail Delivery
Printed transcript requests are processed and mailed within 5–7 business days of request. Processing time does not include the U.S. Postal Service delivery time for Standard Mail.
Rush mail delivery options are unavailable, including tracking services.
